Something a little different for me to get my teeth into again, which is always fun. I really like the stripped-down feel of this song. Quite a head-scratcher to maintain a healthy balance between overplaying and providing a rhythmic and melodic counterpoint to the vocals on this, so two takes were recorded with a different feel to each, which were comp'd together pretty effectively I think into the end result. Really happy with the bass sound too - my 2020 ltd edition satin finish 4003 simply going into the Ampeg sim in Logic.
